Meadow View

Chester and Hilary would like to welcome you to their home offering bed and breakfast on the edge of Dartmouth, just 5 minutes walk to the water at Warfleet Creek, 10 minutes walk to Dartmouth Castle and the South West Coast Path and 15 minutes walk to the centre of town.

Meadow View is a peaceful, light, and modern, 'upside down' house with plenty of parking. We have 2 guest bedrooms downstairs, one double and one twin, sharing a bathroom. If you are a couple you will have the downstairs area to yourselves. Alternatively, if you are a family or with friends you can take both rooms and share the bathroom.

Our home has been recently renovated and the bedrooms have new beds, furniture and there is new carpet throughout the house

We love our life in Dartmouth and are keen walkers and sailors. We will be on hand to advise you on walks, things not to miss and things we think you should! We have a very happy and enthusiastic Springer Spaniel called Bella - who will love to greet you!

Accommodation

Although we do not have TVs in the rooms we do have music systems with a selection of CDs to play and books for you to read. There is wireless internet connection should you need it. Both rooms have hairdryers, dressing gowns and magazines. There is fresh coffee and tea in your room together with wine glasses and a corkscrew.

Homemade cake, biscuits or flapjack will be in your room each afternoon to help you recover from your days activities.

The bathroom has a supply of body lotion, shower gel, shampoo etc to help you unwind.

The fridge in the lobby holds filtered water, fresh milk and plenty of room for anything else you need to cool.

Breakfast can be taken upstairs, either at our dining table overlooking our balcony to the fields opposite or, if sunny and warm outside, on our terrace.

Our emphasis is on relaxation so breakfast is a leisurely affair! There will always be fruit, yoghurt, cereal, and orange juice but the rest is up to you - maybe Greek scrambled eggs (with tomato and feta cheese), pancakes with honey and bananas or good old egg and bacon. We will only use free range eggs and 'happy pig' bacon. We make our own bread with organic flour whenever possible.
